Subject:re Steve's Gig Rig

Hi All

First of all, This is Steve the Keyboard Player talking. As a
player I am very critical of my sound. If something bothers me. I do
not play so well.
The rig of my life was a A-100 & four 145 Leslie's plus a bass rig.
Not practical today. But I have found the new rig to be just a good.
It really floats my boat.
My basic needs are a portable system to handle Vocals & my Nord
Stage. But great Bass is very important. Here is what I came up with.

Re engineered Peavey PR15 speakers. New crossover, New speakers &
redone for 3way operation.

Power is Stereo PA 300 watts per side

Re engineered SE preamp compensated for Headphone operation.

All this gives me a thin slice of Heaven. I dare to say the system
is the Best of the Best. The big conclusion of all this is. You can
have the best keyboard in the world. Spend tons of money on it. But
you have nothing if you don't put the same effort into the amp &
speaker system.
