Subject:XB2 and solton leslie
Hello guys,
I currently play a Hammond XB2 and a Solton leslie clone. I'd like to control the solton speed by the XB2's onboard leslie
switches, via the eleven pin connector on the XB2. This will probably involve some soldering and wire-cutting. I'm not much of an electronics man, but here goes... :-)
The Solton has three wires coming out for speed control, directly connected to the motors, i suppose one of them is ground, and the others slow and fast. (shorting the ground to either of the other ones, causes either fast or slow speed.)
Checking out the 11 pin connector layout i found that there are three pins for speed control (same system, one ground, and two others for speed control. I guess i can't connect my solton wires directly to these pins...?
Is there anybody of you guys who can help me out on this one, and make this system work?
Best regards, and thx in advance!
Wim
