Ok, more seriously now...
Looks like they are revisiting the idea of modulating compressed air to
produce infrasonic sound. The website's description states that the motor
runs the fan, and a voice coil changes the pitch of the blades. At "rest"
the blades would be rotating, but won't push any air, with a signal the air
get's pushed as modulated by the signal.
First thing that comes to mind is "How many sources out there actually have
anything in this frequency range to be reproduced?" It may be a bit chicken
and the egg, but since most audio doesn't go there, I would think it
wouldn't have anything to do.
I'll pass on commenting on the value of the system in general - especially
since I haven't experienced it.
