I used mine like this a ton of times live last summer. It was a blues
thing, so I didn't need any footwork. As long as you don't wear
snowshoes it doesn't take much dexterity to use this way. I have a
footswitch on my real leslie which is one speed, and I'm constantly on
the thing, so I was a little worried about how it would work live. I
was especially worried about hitting the wrong footswitch and having
the organ come blaring through clean, but that never happened. The one
thing that did happen was it got away a few times on carpet stages,
but I stuck some velcro to the bottom and that solved that problem.
The little light is real handy for finding out where it's at speedwise
too, I wish my real leslie had that sometimes. (It's in an isolation
room in the studio).
