Subject:OT:Invisible Stands
The Invisible Stands were a hassle when they were broken down and
transported. Unless you had one of the official Invisible bags, or a custom
case, like tonysounds used to haul his around in, they became a bunch of
metal parts with wire cable attached.
I had a few different Invisible Stands, in different configurations. I
really liked that they were extremely stealthy and strong. I never liked
the large triangular legs. Both unpacked and on stage. Because the stands,
although very lightweight and sturdy could be knocked over if somehow one of
the leg pieces twisted enough for whatever reason. Because the stands are
light, heavier keyboard rigs could shift just enough to cause potential
disaster.
I would probably experiment with an Invisible setup again, but I wouldnąt
want to invest in hundreds of $ for more they seem to be getting in the
market.
