the Korg M1 has a parameter in the system menu that changes the polarity
of the pedal... so no problem with the FC-7...

You probably want to find the manual.

Some keyboards, like my Quadrasynth +, are auto-sensing. I just plug it
in and power up and it decides what the polarity is.
