Subject:Re: Diversi Organ Open House
Reports on the Diversi seem to be glowing. I played the new B3 but not the
Diversi. The one difference that I am aware of is that the new B3 has the 9
contacts under the keys and the Diversi does not. I don't know how important
this really is. However, the chorus vibrato does sound better on the
Diversi.
If you really want to hear it, go to Keyboard TV and watch/listen to the
Joey D. interview. Not only is the interview great, Joey plays and rips on
the Diversi and it sounds great. He points out that the Diversi's tone
start is random, like on a real B3. so that the sounds of the keys do not
start at the same place like many of Diversi's competitors. Makes a lot of
sense. The Leslie sim sounds great. Plus it has cloning ability so that you
can clone your favorite organ and have it play back on the Diversi. That is
pretty damn cool.
The Diversi has much of the same player interface as a real B3 minus the
preset keys. I think that's it will be a strong competitor to the new B3.

What's the street price of a New B3 Portable with stand, pedals, and
bench?
Has snyone who heard/played the Diversi, also played a New B3?
If so, how do they compare in feel and sound? Thanks in advance.
