Thanks - this is just what I was hoping for.

Actually I won a recent auction for one of these units on Ebay so it
looks like I'll be trying it out with my BX-3 some time next week.

Do you happen to know whether the external switch calls for a
momentary-contact, the kind that xk3cdave mentions in his reponse
below? The expression-pedal mounted switch sounds like a great
idea, hopefully it calls for a momentary contact switch and I can
find one robust enough for mounting on the Morley expression pedal
I'm using.
