Subject:Re: Just bought a Leslie 122

Ryan,

Keyboard Carriage has delivered and picked up from my house twice. I
live on a street designated as a truck route (really a turn around
street, rarely used by trucks), because we are 5 blocks from a
cross-town freeway and 5 blocks from the Port of Stockton (an inland
sea-port).

KC's big worry is tickets/violations for driving a a semi with a big
trailer in strictly residential areas. The ticket for that is $500,
first time offense, here in California.

See what you can do by asking them. They are real easy to get along
with and can meet you at a nearby truck stop or mall if you can't get
street delivery.

Ham-Suz USA didn't want to do it, but I called KC and had them OK it
for Ham-Suz. That's how I got #2 XKLM picked up (bad finishing,
horrible bad!) and how my #3 XKLM was finally delivered (perfect!)

Phone calls can work wonders.

Congratulations on the new tone monster you've got coming.

XKDave
