Subject:Re: CASIO 691/WK/ GREAT SETTING - CHECK THIS OUT!
As I've mentioned before, for many years I used a simple no-name chorus pedal (and before that an ElectroHarmonix Small Clone), winding the speed up and down manually for a reasonably convincing Leslie effect. I had been thinking about designing a modification involving a footswitch and some capacitors for an auto-ramp effect when the first affordable Leslie sim, the Danelectro Rocky Road came on the market, at about the same price as a mid-priced chorus pedal. That's what I used for about 5 years until I got my WK-3000 - I have no complaints regarding the WK's onboard Leslie sim, but this may be that I've never played a real Hammond/Leslie for any amount of time!
