They shouldn't be flat so those tires/o-rings have probably been in
there a while. Whether or not you should replace them is up to you.
Eventually you will need to go the replacement route, but if they're
still working, go ahead and use them until that time comes. What you
need to do is adjust the slow motor. It sounds like to me that the
adjustment is too tight and when you turn the Leslie off, the slow motor
doesn't disengage properly. So the next time you turn it on, the motor
locks up. It's pretty easy to adjust and they say you can do it without
removing the motor assembly, however I would remove it. Makes the job a
lot easier.
