True. But how about boutique shops like LA Music? The reason why I suggested the big cities is because there is usually at least one store that has knowledgeable sales people.

I also understand your comment about the money. But if the main issue here is getting the product to the customers to try out, then the investment to do that must be made. And unless I grossly underestimated the 20,000 dollar cost, then this investment seems modest for a company entering the market. You already got some free advertisement in Keyboard Magazine from the great article with Joey, why not follow that up with a product distribution?

Anyway, I know that I am not privy to all the information and business considerations that you are. And my suggestions may be simplistic.

It is true that the salespeople in most of the big music chains have no idea what we do or want. And maybe we are so small that we depend on each other through these email lists. If that is true, then maybe shipping demos to selected members in large cities is one possibility.
