I've taken a new day gig, and it's not going to allow me to run a music business very well. With my son in college, there's no one to take over, and it's becoming hectic at times. I started AshbySolutions. com with the idea of providing great service, and so after a lot of thought, I've decided to close down the business.

I'd like to thank the members of this list who did business with me over the years. It's hard being a small businessman in today's economy, and even harder if your business is musical instruments. Your support was appreciated.

From now until 8/1/2008, I'll continue to run "business as usual" -- i.e., if I don't have something you want in stock, I'll be happy to order it. After 8/1/2008, ALL sales will be limited to stock on hand. This includes niche items for clone players. As I run out of a line of products (ex: Halfmoon switches), I'll cease to advertise as a dealer of that line. At some point, I'll probably have a final sale and/or put things up on eBay. Email response may be a little slow at times, as will be the shipment of items which require assembly and test; please bear with me.

A special note about the FC7 foot pedal adapter: I'm starting to run low on parts. Some of the pieces require buying 200-300 at a time to remain profitable, and that boils down to another 2-4 years worth of the parts, at the current burn rate. I have enough parts and finished cables left to sell about 45 more of them; when those are gone, we're not going to make them anymore. There are a couple of list members who have asked me to let them know if the product was going away; here's your notice! ;-) Feel free to pass it along to other lists like the Nord Electro.
