I designed and built the cabinet myself. I bought the Fatar TP/80 from
AnalogueHaven.com I'm also awaiting for the MKE unit (the MIDI encoder
for the TP/80 to the VK8m) Both the MIDI and the VK8m power supplies
sit inside the cabinet (I'll post some pics of the inside if you want
to see how I did it).
I still have to put the finish on the cabinet itself, but I'm pleased
on how well it turned out.
I can't wait to get the 2101 rebuilt... I'm excited to hear how it will
sound (especially the horn area) with true hardwood instead of the MDF
particle board cabinet, because the horn had very weak reflections as
it was built.
