I use a 2007 Ford Focus Wagon. With the back seat down I can fit 2 Yorkville Nx55P's, 2-3 suitcase sized pieces (books, mixer, cables), an 88 key keyboard and stand, a jazz drumkit with hardware and cymbals and a couple of pieces of luggage for my Key/Drum duet band. New it was 16,000. 28 or so on the road (loaded) and 22 around town. I looked at the RAV 4 (first choice but 24,000), and the CRV (88 key keyboard would not fit!!) along with several other vehickles (new Hyundai Santa fee- worse gas mileage- 22,000). Only glitch with the focus is that the rear seats don't truly split so you can't carry the 88 key keyboard and 2 passengers.
