Subject:Re: OT Fitting Equipment into Car

Rick,

I have an '04 Toyota Matrix, manual transmission. MPG >30. I can get 3
keyboards, a Peavey KB300, KB stand, and cable bags with room to spare.

A 145 will fit (lying on it's back) but there's much less extra room.

A chopped CV will fit with the bottom of the cabinet assembled and
separate(I am considering knocking down the lower cabinet to be
reassembled with threaded inserts and machine screws to make more
room) but if I'm hauling that these days, it's just about all that
will fit. As it is right now, I don't gig with the leslie and CV.
(It's enough work moving the "compact" rig :)

In each scenario above, the passenger seat is available for more gear
or your favorite groupie : )

Cheers,
Rock
