Subject:Re: OT midi question

There's obviously a sommon sense answer to all of this.
These units, like the one I bought, are not being used by the
professional market.
They're made to take them home and plunk around on.
And they're not being used by their targe audience for any other
purposes.
If they were, they'd have all the midi attachments included. AND cost
more money.
For a few bucks more the Casio has all the bells and whistles plus a lot
more sounds.
I happen to like Yamaha pianos so I went with this model.
I have the Casio for practice puposes at another location and like to
leave it there.
The Yamaha gets put into the truck for run around rehearsals and weighs
nothing.
Hauling a Motif to rehearsal at an off-site location is a PIA.
I don't need midi for that.
