Hi Chuck,
Unfortunately, the answer is no. The "square" USB plug means the device is a peripheral, not a host. That means that it cannot provide a connection for a USB-to-MIDI interface. USB doesn't work that way. The only alternative would be to put a PC/Mac in between the devices, and link them in software.
