Subject:New member introducing himself
Hi guys,
I'm new here and like to briefly introduce myself. I'm from The
Netherlands, 45 years, and a big fan of the real thing Hammond. But for
transportability reasons I have a Roland VK-7. I add a Roland A30 and a
homemade pedal to it (see my website www.solcon.nl/aart.saly for details
of my setup)
I'm in big search for the sound of the real thing via a VK-7. I know
that (for instance) the leslie settings of the VK-7 aren't the optimum.
So I'm all ears for everyone who can guide me and help me with settings
for the VK-7 to achieve the sound of the real thing.
Currently I'm experimenting with a Korg PX4D in order to try to obtain
the right overdrive growl. But until now it's not really convincing. So
anyone with suggestions about getting the real growl vwith a VK-7?
Sincerely,
Aart Saly
The Netherlands
