Good point, indeed...With my student roster at its' lowest point in 8 years, and live gigs down about 50%; I'm not planning on any major gear acquisition 'til perhaps the 3rd or 4th quarter of this year, if then...Just some small stuff: accessories, a little software, etc.
So of course I was glad to read about the upgrades soon available for my Stage...

But all this may change in the coming months when this worldwide
recession really hits. With musicians not being able to afford new
instruments, it may be wise for these companies to offer software upgrades for a
price. This may be one of the few ways that music manufacturers can
make sales.
