I would look into the Yamaha Motif ES rack or maybe even the original Motif
rack. They way be discontinuing them because there is a new Motif series, but
used ones are pretty affordable.... the Motif classic is going for around 500
dollars these days and the ES for 650 to 800 dollars or so. The Yamaha stuff
is extremely dependabe so don't worry about buying used. Check E bay if you
have no other source.

You are one of the few on this list who has reported obtaining a VK88. I am
a huge Roland fan ( I have the VK8m module) . I am unaware of the VK88
capabilities but I am sure that it is capable of a lot
