If you get the start-up capital I'll help you make it a success. Only
there would have to be some rules:
We'd have to put some kind of timed electro-shock charge on some of
the boards in case "spirited" gospel players get into it smash a few
keybeds. THe store policy is "you break it, you bought it; you break
it and you're broke, we'll accept your car keys & title as payment."
There will be signs like they had in "Wayne's World", except ours
will say "No 'Chopsticks', 'Jump', or 'Separate Ways'."
Customers who try, but can't play the left-hand ostinato from
ELP's "Eruption" correctly will have to pay a $5 fine per repeated
playing, and a 10% surcharge will be added to the purchase of anyone
who refers to rotary cabinets as "lesbian speakers" (it's more common
than you might think).
Anyone who walks by a piano that someone is demo'ing and jokingly
tinkles clusters on the top end of the keyboard will be banned for
life. The same goes for anyone who activates the auto-accompaniment
feature on MULTIPLE portable keyboards, cranks them all up to 11,
then walks away.
