I know I had to replace mine in my 222 when I noticed the "soapbar"
looking part would heat up. I asked Dave @ Goff Prof, he told me to
replace it. So I got one of those new plywood mounted jobs they sell.

Subject: [CWSG] Leslie Crossover Lifespan
Anyone out there know the lifespan of a Leslie Crossover (122/147). Do
they wear out after years and years of use? Is a Leslie crossover from
the 1960's/70's still good? All responses are appreciated.
