Subject:Re:Diversi Organ Vs Hammond
Tom;
It has been a year or more since I had a conversation with Steve at
Speakeasy Vintage Music about the portable organ that you displayed
and both you and Steve consulted on out there in Dover PA. for a
couple of hours. I was under the impression that there would be no
transpose on your portable organs followed by the comment ("your
people should learn to play".) assuming that was for the Rock N
Rollers. What changed your mind? And I believe you also commented on
how a Leslie clone without a spinning lower rotor would never sell.
Same question, what changed your mind?
Mike
By the way, once a year for laughs I stop in a GC to see if anyone
there knows what a Leslie is!
Everyone involved with this project is a musician. Most are organ
players so it makes it easier to do things. However, the two markets
between here in the US, which has two distinct markets and Europe has
it's market. As an example the Europeans, not all, but many think we
are lazy because we want transpose. However, we have transpose.
Again, Thanks for your comments,
Tom
