Subject:Re: Has anyone tried the Quik-Lok M-91 Keyboard Stand?
I too have been using the M-92 dual tier stand for a couple of years.
I stand an play so this has been the best for that so far, not to
mention the space between the legs for pedals and such is the best.
Most of all I also use 2 motifs (6 & 8) on one stand and top tier
adjustments are the best for adjusting angle as well as front to back
adjustment. I can see all displays and controls with no issues. It
also looks very cool on stage...clean.
Cons:
It is a little heavy, but nothing compared to carrying a Yamaha
Motif8 around in a flight case! Also the swivels on the legs have
some kind of plastic bushing inside and it starts to ride up into the
slot, boogering of the bushing somewhat. It still works, but just
makes it harder to open and close the stand. Also I have tryed for a
full year to get the replacement parts from QuikLok and it has become
a loosing battle. I figure for the price of the stand, I would be
able to get parts for it. Still working them, but they are not a
customer service company, in my opinion.
