Subject:OT joystick port for keyboard updates

For some reason the USB ports on my desktop quit working. I want to do
a USB OS update to my Nord C1, like the reverse of the old standard of
going in through the joystick port. I'm working from a folder that has
both the OS update and driver in it and still have the old joystick
adapter cables and an in/out MIDI:USB adapter. Is there a good chance
this would work? ..like the update would find the joystick port, or had
