Subject:c1 stage setup

i was just curious about what kind of leslies people
are running their c1 s through , i,ve had my c1 since
september and have been playing it through a 122 at
our rehearsals but have felt it was losing something
in its tone through it .today i finally got to hear it
through my 3300 ( it,s usally parked at another venue
hooked up to my c-3 )i,m using it with the c1 for a
gig this weekend , it sounds way better , i figured
it would , i tried it with my speakeasy preamp and it
sounds even bigger , very tonewheel like ,the problem is
along with that " bigness " i lose something in the
highend that i can never eq back in , it loses alot of
bite , in the past i,ve noticed that with the xk-3
and have never been able to use the preamp on stage
with it , has anyone noticed that ? or have a fix
for it ? i,ve tried using a jj tube in it ( it,s a
little more neutral i think than the stock tube )
but i think the electroharmonix works better with the
design of the preamp
