I agree with all that. The only difference between the C1 and a
tonewheel Hammond and Leslie that i can find are:
hear - using the leslie sim with the Overdrive - it's close to a
B3/Leslie 145 but doesnt have quite the same warmth, but this will
depend largely on what amp your using. The actual doppler effect,
ramp up/down etc sounds identical to my ears.
feel - without the 9 key contacts nothing can ever feel like a
Hammond IMO.
smell - doesnt smell of hot oil (or in the case of my old M102, like
the inside of an 18th century sea chest, dead rat included)
carry - nuff said.
see - it's red, but it gets noticed, i've had more interest from
sound engineers etc since i swapped to the C1 than from any clone rig
i've owned.
