I was thinking about the 5-10x vs. 2-3x, mainly for your bass tones.
If you pedal, or MIDI pedal tones to lower manual or whatever, having
that extra headroom won't kill the rest of your tone.... unless you
add a sub, now you're adding more and more pieces to the rig...
But BW made an excellent point about the horn driver is actually a
midrange driver (set 800-7khz) 2:1 or 3:1 normally would be ideal.
Perhaps SE will engineer the right balance for your custom upper and
lower cabs to meet your individual needs, as they can vary greatly
from person to person.... like 4 drivers for a 500W spinning horn : )
