Build quality and tone would be first and most obvious (Motion Sound makes their Pro3t, and that never stopped Hammond Suzuki).  But it wouldn¢t be a duplicate product as the 2101 and Motion Sound products aren¢t passive: each contain their own amplification, and what Steve is suggesting would not. That would, I¢m guessing, bring the cost DOWN.
 
Personally, I wouldn¢t find any use for that product as it really convolutes amplification of non-organ sounds (needing another amp just to power the rotary).  However I could see some people using it, whether they be dedicated organists who can¢t move a leslie and are currently using a component amp rig (they could introduce this at will and disable a sim) or guitarists, or anyone who¢d want rotary for atypical sounds.  But I¢m guessing most folks would be more interested in the Short Stack anyway, as they¢d want the lower rotor.
