Yes, when in split mode, you can shift the left hand manual octave-wise, but the split point is not negotiable (I find it plenty for left hand comping).
No you can't use the XM drawbar unit to control the Electro, but I have Voce midi drawbars programmed for it for sale.

I've come full circle and am now back to considering an Electro 2.
I just heard the live cuts of a show I did on Saturday using the RT20 and the Leslie effect was lost.
It could have been something the sound guy did but it sounded horrible.
The Leslie sims on my XK3 and XM2 aren't any better.
The questions are:
Since there are 73 keys, can one float/lower the split point using more of the lower keyboard than exists on a 61 key for the second manual?
AND
Is there any way possible to use an HS XM drawbar unit to control the Nord?
