The ultramizer has this effect, but it may not sound exactly the same
as the Dolby Headphone effect. These effects are largely acheived by
adding a summed mono reverse-phase signal, which "cancels" out some
of the center signal, thus enhancing the stereo field. But the Dolby
and WOW effects use an algorithm that adds a slight delay (less than
2ms) to the reverse-phase (center) signal to broaden the spectrum as
our ears would "naturally" hear the sound. But use it wisely, any
more than 50% saturation will start to muddy out the tone...
Each "surround" effect will give yield a different reaction to leslie
sims, but some sims sound really cool with it in place. If you're
running any VST host software (like Cubase or Nuendo) you can test
this effect out with any stereo-widener or WOW effect plugin, hear
for yourself.
