Get the original 15 repaired. If the voice coil is going, depending on who does the repair, the cone can be reused if it's in good shape, and just put? a new coil. Taking out the speaker you need to unsolder the wires, if they are soldered, and then just carefully unscrew the screws holding the speaker. If you intend yo save the cone, be careful you don't snag the cone on anything while pulling the speaker out, like the spindle holding the rotor in place or it's two bracket screws. Mark your wires which was positive and negative and perhaps put an "+" by the speaker terminal to show positive side.

The originals sound best. I had my 15 re coiled and it worked fine and I use it for recording only.

to the original, which is what is in there now, it is showing signs of

fatigue, which means it is probably getting ready to blow. Also, is

there any particular trick or anything I need to know to take out the

original, and put in the new one?? I'm not the most technically adept

dude, so I can have a local Hammond guy do it but if its pretty simple,

I can probably do it--if theres something weird that can happen, please

alert me!!
