I have a Hammond XK-1. Living in Florida I never play without an APC UPS. My amp is
plugged into the not battery backup section and the XK-1 is plugged into the surge
suppressor section. With 50K in protection insurance via APC the $129.99 I spent on the UPS
is worth not worrying about my $1700.00 Hammond XK-1.

Just a thought. The APC UPS also monitors for circuit problems.
