Subject:Power problems


I did a gig at a remote "camp" this weekend. It was a great party, but:

My Leslie motors ran jerky and slow on chorale (Hamptone) Eventually they
started smelling hot, so I used stop or tremolo only.

My Nord Stage kept adding effects during a song (like a chorale sound or
tons of reverb)

The power amp that drives my frankenleslie probably quit -- first the woofer
side stopped and as I was trying to figure out what happened to my sound,
the driver side quit (20-30- seconds later.)

It seems the generator was erratic and finally quit and we were running on
battery backup. When the generator quit, most of the amps had a loud buzz
in them.

I wonder if I have any permanent damage besides the Leslie. Anybody have
any experience with this?
