Hi All,

Keep in mind that Oye Como Va isn't a Santana tune -- it's a Tito Puente tune that Carlos covered. I'm sure that while to the average white '60s audience it was a new thing, to many Latino listeners it was more like, "Tito Puente? Man, my DAD listens to Tito Puente!" ;-) It was like Van Halen doing Pretty Woman, or Pat Benatar doing You Better Run: a nod to an early influence.
