My experience has not been so dire as people seem to be posting on this
list. I seem to have no trouble getting noticed and I get lots of
compliments whenever I play. I'm just sitting there having a good time. And
that's just sitting in with bands playing standard blues and rock.

When I do a jazz gig, people are even more attentive.
