Ah well, last week after fixing an L100 and playing it for a bit my very
own girlfriend gave me the 'sounds like a church organ' comment (adding
'and you already have 3 of those, don't you!') - even after I tried
glissandos to see if the glued keys that broke off would hold up...!

They just don't know how to appreciate music or value it in their life.

Hmm, some great and well-known Stones tunes are carried by the great
chops of the late Billy Preston (one of my musical heroes and
inspirators). And Lennon played piano on many Beatles tunes. Which he
wrote on piano, too.
