Hal,

Is the case Colorado Case Co. padding as thick on the sides and corners as the C1 case?  Does it provide as much protection as the Nord case?  I have the Nord bag and agree it adds a great deal of weight, more than necessary.

I got the gig bag for C1 from Nord, but it was too heavy for a gig bag. The reason I use C1 is the light weight, but the Nord C1 gig bag adds a lot of weight, so there is no way you can carry it with a shoulder strap, and it doesn't has a shoulder strap anyway. So, I returned the C1 gig bag right away and ordered a custom made gig bag from Colorado Case. Both are almost the same price, and now I can carry C1 easily.
