I don't usually stack three boards if I have space for 2x2, but I did
get a 3-tier stand to get me through such occassions. I normally use it
without the 3rd tier. The one I use is from

I have the KSV-3XL which they designed pretty much at my request because
most keyboard stands are too low for me, so they made me an XL version.
It is now part of their standard range. The stands are extremely light
but very stiff and stable, ie no bouncing or swinging keyboards when you
start pounding on the higher or upper keys. I got this one after trying
dozens of other keyboard stands.
