Subject:The real thing...
Hey , Buenos días Javi,
What a thought you posted eh ?
I 'll need to re-read Kierkegaard, James, Heidegger, Foucault, and so many others philosophers regarding the time and existence factors.
I'd swear that Hammond has the value of 'missing things' so they worth by
their intrinsic rareness.
I prefer things as actually are.
Many of us are having dreams.......
BTW let me quote Aristotle,
".....Having hope is like being awake dreaming"
(sorry if it's not exactly as the English version of the greek original)
I want to pursue the dream of having the real thing soon or later.
Not any Hammond (i.e. X66 or a Concorde)
Just an old good B3 , C3, A100, or the likes consoles, better if with percussion, I don't care about vibrato if having a Leslie 147 )
All feel other substitutes like 'diet' flavor, rather than 'the real thing'
And if I see some day everything rebuilt, probably my dream would be vanished, as it already happened with many things that appeared to be not modifiable for ever.
Feel terrible when not writing in my mother tongue about non-technical topics.
Anybody drove a car in Greece or having to read any other non-latin alphabet ?
Feel the same this time !
.....
Thanks for let me sharing this.
Best
Rafael

Nobody would wish that the real thing come back...?, no digital clonewheels (include
Hammond-Suzuki. ..clones) , only tonewheels, tubes, drawbars...new organs with the old and
genuine tecnology... toc, toc, awake Javi...¡¡¡
