Put me on the list of proud Herb Alpert fans, I think if I were
honest, he would have been my biggerst trumpet playing influence, even
more then Miles! I had the fakebook, and all the LP's, wore them out
playing with them. Kind of funny, the latest track I completed was a
song called "WHatif" which was my idea of what Herb would have sounded
like if he got shipwrecked in Capetown and ended up in a jam session.
As a sidenote, I got the whipped Cream remix CD where MMW remixed one
of their sounds, was a little dissapointed, but there's still some
cool organ work there.
