Subject:Herb Albert
Buenos Dias Rafael!
Yes, I love Herb Albert! My dad has his records, and I remember listening to him on the
radio in the 60's. I just got three nice albums from Ebay for $1 each. I also love latin
organ. I play Besame Mucho, El Cumbachero, Tico Tico, Granada, The Girl from Ipanema,
Summer Samba, Quisas Quisas Quisas, etc. My VK88 has nice piano, vibes, and bass guitar
which add just enough ritmo to make it sound latino.
Walter Wanderly was popular here back then and played lots of Latin organ. You can listen
on Youtube.
My organ teacher when I was a child taught me one single latin rhythm with my left hand
and the pedal. Wish I could learn more. P- H H P H P H

the intricacies of foxtrot, hot jazz, rumba ,mambo, cha-cha-cha, guaracha, bolero,
samba, bossa nova and so many others, something impossble to be found at any so called
private or public 'Conservatory'.

one from the other , unless too young and far of being a connoisseur.
