It's amazing how much of all this clone talk is personal taste. I have
a friend who has the cleanest B3 I've ever heard or played. He likes
it this way, and doesn't like distortion, leakage, key click, etc. I'm
the direct opposite. I can't tell you how many CD's I've bought of
average or below average hammond players just because of the sound of
their organs and how they distort. I think to be honest, most folks
fall somewhere between these two extremes, but it's probably a good
thing to remember when getting dogmatic about clone sounds.
