Subject:Electro/XK1/Speakeasy advice please

Hi,

I've been using an Electro73 for a couple of years and really love it.
I currently play the Electro through a Speakeasy Clone pedal. I'm
reconfiguring my set up so I'm considering using an XK1 in place of
the Electro. I would really like to lose the Speakeasy too. The top
end, overall sound and output of the XK1 seems like it might need less
help than the Electro. I think some of you have or have had both these
clones. Has anyone found that the Speakeasy is less neccessary with
the XK1? I know this side steps the issues of Leslie sims, chorus, key
click, etc. These are of course big factors in final sound but I'm
hoping you can address this in terms of the basic sound quality of
each, particullarly their top end.
