I've seen that project page before, but it looks like he stopped
working on it 3 years ago.

I'm using the midiboutique.com scanner, which is one of the ones he
mentioned. Instead of the one he mentioned for B4, I'm using a custom
command set designed to handle the full 4 drawbar sets (plus pedal)
that VB3 supports.
