The VK-8M also has an interesting 'mixer' functionality which allows
you to route another stereo sound source through the unit which you
then can control with a volume pedal. I checked it out when I first
got it, so I don't remember whether it allows you to solo the VK-8M or
the second keyboard - maybe someone else can chime in here...
