Subject:WD-40 and Simple Green for Leslie Motors

I am not sure if the stuff is off-limits for Leslie
motors, but one thing we used to use for all kinds of
cleaning on electric race cars is Simple Green. It
does a great job of degreasing and getting gunk off.
Does anyone know if this would be good or bad to use
on these motors?
