I have actually heard Jimmy Smith's organ do a "double triggering" of sorts.
Something happens when you slide off a note......you can hear this effect on
" Minor Mood" that Jimmy Smith recorded with Wes Montgomery.

The thing of it is,it takes a monster technique to control it, and your
fingering has to be accurate as hell. I kind of understand what Roland might have
been going for, but I just sounded way to sloppy on the VK8.

Roland makes great keybeds. I miss my VK7 in that regard. It was very
sturdy, not this flimsy feel that so many keyboards have.
