I like it because it has good controls for isolating the spot you are
working on and it does automatic looping. You can also change the
pitch in small increments to match the music if needed.
It keeps a list of the mp3 files you've worked on so its easy to run
through a bunch of songs that you want to practice. I keep the
computer near my keyboards and before a gig with my cover band I'll
run through the song list and I can stop and slow down and loop a spot
wherever I need work.
Bruce is right that if you have a more high end program like Sonar or
Pro Tools LE, you can probably get clearer results. But for $35 or so
its a great program.
I haven't compared it against any other programs. There are times when
its hard to hear a particular frequency but you can get it to loop on
single note if you want to.
